TECH WEEKLY: The juggling act Pirelli have to handle in their development of the 2026 tyres

Formula 1

Pirelli conducted its second test of the prototype 2026 tyres last week in a test at Mugello with McLaren’s Lando Norris, Ferrari pair Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, as well as the returning Liam Lawson.

This follows from the September test in Barcelona with Aston Martin and Felipe Drugovich. There will be a further test next month at Magny Cours with the Alpine team.
